After taking two of three games in their interleague matchup with the Cardinals, the Yankees have now split their last 10 games and find themselves four games above .500, (28-24) on the year.

New York sits in second place in the A.L. East, two and a half back of Toronto, while two games ahead of Baltimore.

The Yankees are set to begin a weekend three game set with a struggling Twins ball club. Minnesota, losers of their last two, winning only three of their last 10, three games under .500 (24-27), tied with the Kansas City Royals for third place in the A.L. Central.

Friday night’s game at the Stadium gets under way at 7:05pm with the pregame beginning at 6:30pm and heard right here on AM790.

Saturday and Sundays games begin at 1:05 with the pregame at 12:30pm.

Following the series with the Twins, the Yankees have a Monday night make-up game with the Mariners. Tuesday night they begin a three game set with the Athletics, before heading off on a 10 game road trip with stops in Kansas City, Seattle and Oakland before returning home on June 17th.
